We are all settled back in and the kids are halfway through week 2 of the school term already!
After spending parts of Friday and Saturday on a thorough sort and clean up of my sewing/craft space, early this week I promptly messed it all up again sewing a few things for my Etsy store after neglecting it for a little while!
I had just enough whole pieces of Liberty fabric to sew up two separate buntings, which I listed yesterday and were snapped up within a few hours much to my delight.
I sewed up a double sided triangle version:
And, my favourite – a scalloped version too.
I will definitely stocking up on some more fabric so I can make some more of these, so fun to sew. Not entirely quick, because the fabric is so silky, each flag also needed some interfacing to add some bulk.
Sitting nicely in a box, was also this blanket which I completed before our holiday.
There was a new nephew/niece due just before we left and I was surprisingly organised and knitted up both a girl and boy woollen blanket for the new arrival. The new addition was a healthy baby girl, which means I now have the boy version listed on Etsy. I used Bendigo Luxury wool for this blanket, and it is so nice and soft.
So that’s what I’ve been up to this week – oh, and tending to a sickly 7 year old, but he’s on the mend now
